The InterContinental Hua Hin Resort is the five-star setting for the Hua Hin Wine Expo; a very social evening featuring fine wines from across the world with exotic cuisine to commence the evening’s activities.
Sampling and discussing the fine wines offered by importers including Ambrose Wine, Bespoke Wine, DZ Wine, Enoteca, G Four, Italasia, IWS, Monsoon Valley, Vanichwathana and Wine Dee Dee will set the scene for guests as they mingle amongst old friends and new.
Special guest speakers Will Robinson and Guido Campigotto will then present their entertaining perspectives on how Thailand’s wine culture is so important to Hua Hin and why the ‘Amazing Thailand’ mantra really suits our royal coast environment.
Will Robinson is a renowned music and video producer who has collaborated with international stars worldwide but also a special affinity with culture, sights and sounds of Thailand and Hua Hin.
The ‘Isan Project’ is a Thai music and video project produced by Will fusing Western beats with Thai instruments, their first album was “The Spirit of Isan” which includes the popular “Thailand Amazing Thailand” tune and now finishing their second album “The Beautiful North”.
Will has filmed at some stunning locations in Thailand for his music videos which include ‘Yellow Mountain’ in Mae Hong Son. His new album due for lunch later this year features vocalists Sonna Rele and Daniel Ryan.
He also recently collaborated with British cave hero Vern Unsworth on a song and video called “Where the eagles fly” and produced ”Heroes of Thailand” which he penned with Daniel Ryan for the Tham luang cave rescue in Thailand. Will’s entertaining presentation promises guests some surprising musical and visual experiences.
Guido Campigotto is the General Manager of Food & Beverages at the Siam Winery. He really understands and appreciates fine wine, but also the challenges of producing wine outside the traditional wine growing latitudes.
An innovative approach to viticulture in Thailand has resulted in Hua Hin’s renowned Monsoon Valley vineyard receiving multiple awards from international wine competitions to ensure the future of a wine appreciation culture in Hua Hin.
The Hua Hin Wine Expo is presented by the Royal Coast Review as a fund raising event in support of SOS Hua Hin, a foundation with a vital food rescue mission in our community. Early bookings for you and your friends will be essential to ensure a place at this most enjoyable and surprising event.
