Hua Hin Hospital in Prachuap Khiri Khan province is ready to open a medical cannabis clinic from May 22, hospital director Dr Niran Chantraku said.
The clinic will be open from 8.30am to noon on the second and fourth Friday of each month.
The clinic will treat patients suffering from Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy that is difficult to treat, Alzheimer’s, spasms, anxiety, or peripheral neuropathy with Thai traditional medicine and modern medicine.
The director said the cannabis clinic will treat patients who have not benefited much from modern medicine.
Doctors who have specialised in analgesics and Chinese medicines will work in the clinic, the director added.
